تقييم العلاج الوظيفي

في First Step، نوفّر تقييمًا متكاملًا للعلاج الوظيفي، يهدف إلى فهم تفاعل الطفل مع بيئته من خلال تقييم الجوانب الحركية، الإدراكية، الحسية، والمهارات اليومية، بما يساعد في تصميم خطة علاجية فعّالة تدعم استقلاليته ونموّه المتكامل.

ما الذي يتضمنه التقييم؟

1. جمع المعلومات الأولية

مقابلة مع الوالدين للتعرف على سلوكيات الطفل واستجابته للمثيرات الحسية

مراجعة التاريخ الطبي وتطوّر المهارات الحركية والعناية بالذات


2. ملاحظة الأداء في بيئة حسية مهيئة

تقييم المهارات الحركية الدقيقة والكبرى

فحص المهارات الإدراكية والانتباه والتركيز

مراقبة ردود الفعل تجاه المدخلات الحسية (اللمس – التوازن – الصوت – الشم – التذوق – البصر – الحس العميق)


3. اختبارات حسية مقننة

تطبيق استبيانات وأدوات لقياس الحساسية الزائدة أو ضعف الاستجابة للمحفزات

ملاحظة الطفل أثناء أنشطة تفاعلية في غرفة حسية


تقييم مهارات الحياة اليومية مثل:

الأكل (انتقائية الطعام واستخدام أدوات الاكل)

اللبس (ارتداء الملابس وخلعها بشكل مستقل)

النظافة الشخصية والاستحمام مثل (تفريش الاسنان والاغتسال واستخدام الحمام)

اللعب (اللعب بشكل وظيفي وضمن مجموعات)


لمن يُناسب هذا التقييم؟

الأطفال المصابون باضطرابات النمو والتطور مثل:

التأخر النمائي

التوحد

فرط الحركة وتشتت الانتباه

الشلل الدماغي و السنسنة المشقوقة

اضطرابات المعالجة الحسية


والأطفال الذين يعانون من:

صعوبات في المهارات الحركية الدقيقة أو الكبرى

تأخر في التوازن أو الإدراك

انتقائية في الطعام

تحديات في الاستقلال بالمهام اليومية

يُفضل إحضار أي تقارير أو ملاحظات سابقة حول تطور الطفل أو المواقف الحسية الخاصة به

First Step Counseling Center is the first center in the Arabian Gulf countries to be accredited by the International Council for Accreditation of Standards for Continuing Education and Training. It is also the first center in Kuwait to provide comprehensive assessment and intervention services for children suffering from developmental, behavioral and psychological disorders such as: autism spectrum disorder, hyperactivity and attention deficit, language delay, and other developmental disorders that children are exposed to in the early stages of life. We have a unique and distinctive experience in the field of early intervention from comprehensive assessment to building and implementing individual treatment plans.The center includes a group of specialized professionals who lead the way in new developments in the State of Kuwait, as First Step Center is an ambitious, forward-thinking specialized center. At First Step Center, we provide specialized and purposeful individual programs for our children to ensure the development of their skills and independence by providing high-quality, evidence-based intervention that combines the principles of applied behavior analysis, sensory integration, speech and language therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy. “First Step”… Where the dream began and turned into reality It all started with boundless passion and a vision that believes that every child deserves a chance to grow and develop. In our keenness to be at the forefront of providing rehabilitation services, we sought to create an organized environment that includes a multidisciplinary team, including behavior analysts and technicians, occupational therapists, speech and language therapists, and psychologists. Through this, we aim to provide applied behavior analysis on a scientific basis for intervention, and to enhance functional skills that enable the child to rely on himself in performing his daily functions, at home, school and in the community. We also strive to provide effective and organized ways to help children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder develop faster, in line with their individual needs.
