What does the assessment include?
Initial Parent Interview
Collecting family background and the child’s psychological and social history
Discussing observed emotional or behavioral challenges
Individual Child Assessment Sessions
Implementing standardized psychological tests
Utilizing tools from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Observing the child’s responses across contexts (play, conversation, drawing, role play)
Environmental and Social Analysis
Understanding the influence of home, school, and relationships on behavior
Identifying triggers impacting the child's mental health
Comprehensive Report and Treatment Recommendations
A customized support plan including therapeutic sessions
Practical guidance for parents and schools to improve the child’s environment
Regular follow-ups to monitor progress
Who is this assessment for?
Children who experience:
Extreme mood swings or intense emotional outbursts
Withdrawal or avoidance behaviors
Anxiety and phobias
Difficulty coping with social and academic changes
Difficulties expressing emotions or understanding them
Obvious changes in sleeping patterns, eating and general behaviours
Duration:
90 minutes, depending on the child’s condition and interaction level
Previous reports or observations are helpful for better accuracy
